Substitutes As Needed:

Cafeteria, Classroom Aides, Secretaries $12 per hour Buildings & Grounds $15 per hour

Requirements include completing an employment application and BCI & FBI background check less than 12 months old. Additionally for Aides, an Aide Permit obtained through the Ohio Dept. of Education.

Teachers $100 per day

Under House Bill 409, the Garaway Board of Education has amended their policy to accept licensed substitutes with an Associate's Degree or High School Diploma for the 2023/2024 school year. If you are interested, you must first obtain a non-renewable temporary substitute teaching license for the 2023/2024 school year. Click here for ODE Information.
After you obtain your license, you will apply through the Ohio Substitute Teacher Services (OSTS)
