At this time, per the governors order, we will operate remotely until the end of the school year. All of our physical buildings and facilities will remain closed. Based on our calendar, our last day of school will be May 27.
Our principals will update you on the plans for instruction and another round of packet pickups. You can also get those details on our website in the news section.
We will begin making arrangements for locker cleanouts, book returns, uniform returns and typical end of the year concluding activities in the coming days. We are continuing all regular operations, but everything is primarily online.
I want you to know that it is our full intention to offer an alternative for all of our regularly planned activities ranging from field trips, to academic honors, prom and graduation. At this time, we are hoping for some positive changes in Ohio and will wait before making a definitive decision on graduation. We have set May 12 as our deadline, and will establish a plan after that. All of our plans are dependent on our governor and health professionals.
Please note, we will also continue providing food until the end of the school year. Meal Distribution will remain on Fridays and details are on our website.
We fully understand that these are difficult circumstances and want you to know that we are here to serve you. Please, don’t hesitate to share your needs with us.
We encourage you to visit our website and social media sites for information and positive student and staff spotlights. I truly believe that we can find some good in our current situation. Even when our circumstances change, our faith, hope and love, shouldn’t. In fact, they can grow in difficult times. Keep it alive and let it guide you.
We love you and are here for you.
