The Garaway Child Nutrition department will be distributing meals to families on Friday, May 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29 between 11 AM - 1 PM at the Fairview Ave. access to Garaway High School. Children will receive 5 breakfast meals and 5 lunch meals on each day. There will be perishable food so make sure you get it to refrigeration as soon as possible.
In an effort to provide plenty of variety there will be some cooking or reheating of product. Cooking instructions will be provided for any items that are not ready to eat. In order to keep exposure to a minimum during this time we ask that you bring a paper with the child's name and school listed. If there are children under the age of 5 and are not in school yet you may also add them to the list and they will be provided 5 breakfast meals and 5 lunch meals as well.
With the mandated closings of so many businesses we also want to offer you the opportunity to fill out a meal application form because you could possibly qualify for free or reduced meals at this time. You can fill out the application online at www.payschoolscentral.com or pick up a printed application on the day of pickup. You can complete an application while waiting for your food.
