It is with much excitement and anticipation that we embark on the 2023-2024 school year.  Over the course of last year and into this year, we surveyed our community in order to give you influence on our school decisions. We fully understand that a successful school district values all stakeholders and creates an environment where all students and families have the opportunity to reach their full potential inside and outside of the classroom. That is why our uncompromised, singular mission is to maximize every person’s potential every day.  Furthermore, we will do that by placing you first.  
    Our school system remains in excellent shape both financially and academically.  Our five year forecast and testing data continue to reflect that excellence. This year we have added new teachers, staff, curriculum, technology and building improvements that we know will add tremendous value and set us up for even more success.
    Our theme this year is Juncta Juvant which means strength in unity.  As a district, we will be studying and implementing principles from Jon Gordon’s book, The Energy Bus.  This theme and study is designed to provide enlightening and inspiring tips that reveal 10 secrets for approaching life and work with the kind of positive, forward thinking that leads to true accomplishment. Every school year provides challenges. Thus, we need to prepare to overcome negativity and adversity to ensure our success. We need to prepare to offer positive energy—the kind of positive energy consisting of vision, trust, optimism, enthusiasm, purpose, and spirit that defines great school districts.
